He successfully sold our condo within one week for $21,500 over asking price and he also managed to negotiate almost $5K off our new condo's purchase price. In mid-November of last year I contacted Otto to advise him that I would be listing my condominium at some point in the beginning of the following year. The purpose of my call was to give him a ‘heads-up’ in the event he met with a client interested in purchasing a unit in the downtown core.

Otto explained that at the time of our meeting that there were very few units available in my area and that listing the unit sooner rather than later would be wise for a number of reasons. Otto explained that the land transfer tax was going to double for purchasers who closed after January 31, 2008 and that my unit had several features that were not available in other listings made it a prime time to list the property.

After our conversation, I decided to list my condominium per Otto’s advice.

Fortunately for me I did; because the condominium sold within 3 weeks of the listing. This is directly attributed to Otto’s knowledge of the condo market, his experience with timing and a keen sense of intuition.
